I spend too much time at Walmart. Yes, I prefer Target but I even had to move our prescriptions to a different pharmacy because I was spending too much money on all my great deals at Target.
So I shop at Walmart. How often, you ask? Well, with nine children I am there pretty much every week. Two examples that might illustrate this. First, there is one cashier that totally recognizes me – in fact, she even asked one time why I didn’t go through her lane. She is great but if someone who works at Walmart recognizes you despite the hundreds of people that go through those doors every hour – you are a regular.
The second example is a little more embarrassing. One day I was in line at Walmart (can you imagine?) Anyway, I looked down the store and saw someone I knew. I waved all excited and then realized – umm, he works here. Yep, I thought it was an old friend. On the same wavelength I saw another person shopping once and spent a bit of time trying to figure out where I knew her from. Several aisles later, it clicked. Yep, you guessed it – another Walmart employee.
